bits of sunshine

Today

Outside my window... the first real snow of the winter.  We did have this snow . . . but of course it didn't stay.  I think this one is here for good.

I am thinking... that I wish I could have dug some of the plants from my old garden . . . maybe I can still go back and salvage some of the bulbs?  I might just try one day later this week.

I am thankful for... my home and my health.  So very thankful.

From the learning rooms... Between the Lions - such a fun way to learn letters and spelling!

From the kitchen... 3 loaves of Sunshine Bread in the oven.

I am creating... a quilt and some Christmas ornaments.

I am going... to town later today. It's time to replenish the baking cupboard.  I've got Christmas goodies on my mind.

I am reading... my Bible, There are Cats in This Book, and I just finished Sarah's Key.

I am hoping... to have lots of Christmas gifts and goodies made up by the end of this week.

I am hearing... the whispers of my children as they play secret agents.

Around the house... tidying up and hopefully finishing the bathroom shelving and trim this week - then I can show you that lovely room (Elissa's been waiting for pictures . . . ).
