right now
:: it is raining
:: i am keeping an eye on this boquet, given to me by the second man of the house
:: i have the windows closed and the dehumidifier working like crazy
:: yesterday we listened to hard rain - in the afternoon, on the roof while maddie swam + in the night, when we should have been sleeping
:: last night, we stayed up too late
:: today, i will drink a lot of coffee
:: there are 11 things on my to-do list today, but as soon as i print off what i have done, i will have 6 of them crossed off!
:: we are hanging on to Isaiah 37 and II Kings 19 right now - the exact same story, word for word! vs. 14-15 are written on a sticky note, stuck to a thick document - hezekiah recieved the letter from the hand of the messengers and read it; and hezakiah went up to the house of the Lord and spread it before the Lord. and hezekiah prayed to the Lord. and the Lord offers swift, decisive deliverance. i know that God answers prayer. pray with us?
:: maddie has been drawing and drawing - i can't wait to show you some of her work!
:: isaac continues to create all sort of things with lego - the kid is an engineer!
:: ben is done with 4 of 5 final EMT exams! he has been passing with flying colors!
:: we are so happy with ben's new job - it is the right place for him. he's gotten 3 task-books completed so far and a 4th one is initiated. this means that he is certified to perform more specialized tasks on both project fires and prescribed burns. i am so proud of him!
:: i am hoping our straw bale gardens take off and grow, grow, grow
:: i am planning to visit my grandma tomorrow - i need to do this as often as i can - she is 94 1/2 years old!
:: i am smiling as i listen to my kiddos help each other with their projects
:: still counting sunny days (11 of them with enough sun to count so far this month)
:: still counting blessings, still encouraged everytime i write them down
and off i go, to print and fold and seal those letters and to continue with the crossing off
i hope you all have a productive and pleasant thursday, my friends!
love, ~e
