so . . .
- i enjoyed my sun stars (the pretty orange-flowered plant that ben's mom brought to me)
- i made pictures for the kids to measure and color (we all had fun)
- i thought about how good it is that our weekend went well (we had 25 people here on Saturday - 12 of them kiddos. and everybody got along and was able to be outside most of the day - it only rained long enough for the kids to play a few inside games and watch robin hood. this is reminding me to write a few thank you notes to people who helped the day go very smoothly.)
- i was (and still am) very grateful that isaac has a stiff neck, not a broken or seriously injured neck (he was doing a flip on the trampoline and didn't make it all the way around . . . oh, son . . )
- i drank lots of coffee
- i prepared supper for our extra grandma and grandpa (we love you two!)
- i went down to feed our pig with isaac both morning and evening - it's so good to have a reason to go out, even in the rain and wind (maddie joined us in the morning, and in the evening we all went down, all four of us and grandma and grandpa, in between supper and dessert (i'll have to show you pictures of wilbur in his pen one of these days . . . )
today . . .
- my kids are doing much better with their attitudes about what we are learning
- i feel a whole lot better about a lot of things
- i'm excited about having some very close neighors within the year
- i'm hopeful about some plans that ben is formulating
- i'm happy that maddie planned a special birthday party for her friend (tomorrow will be a fun, girly day here)
- i'm still drinking lots of coffee
- and i'm wishing you all a happy wednesday
love and hugs to you, ~e
