After about 5 hours of rearranging, cleaning, and organizing . . .
Here is Isaac's space:
And here is Maddie's:
Yes. There are more pictures of Maddie's space. She has four walls and a door. So it was harder to take pictures of her room.
Isaac has three walls and no door. The other wall and the door will make their appearance sometime this summer. Isaac lives in what was going to be our family room, but his room was the smallest, darkest room in the house, and I didn't like that, and it wasn't easy for him to see his legos and toys when he was working on things. So a few months ago, we moved him out into the larger, much brighter front room, and will build him a wall soon. He loves having all the bright light in his room and a little more space to play.
On Thursday of last week, the kids and I spent a good chunk of the day moving all their furniture around, and dusting and vacuuming and straightening. They both like the new spots where their beds are and all the space they have on their floors to play.
I remember LOTS of room rearranges when I was a kid. My room always felt new and special when it was freshly clean and set up. We'll see what room is next . . . :)
