- zoe and lola got to know each other a bit better
- i was groggy from interrupted sleep - lola need to do her business and eat about three times through the night, and sometimes she just cried - she's just a baby
- lola lets us know when she has to go outside - we haven't had too many puppy messes to clean up - this is amazing! she is only 6 weeks old!
- i have a scratch on my forehead from lola crawling over my face
- pretty sure we are all on a puppy-moon :)
- we brought lola to meet our english grandma - grandpa wasn't home - but grandma loved lola so much, grandma and grandpa drove out together in the evening so they could hold and love on lola
- ben got zoe a new fetching toy, and she played so hard she was stiff last night
bits from tuesday not related to lola:
- ben started revamping the old shed that is going to become a new chicken coop
- maddie and isaac had choir practice
- the weather was beautiful
- ben and maddie burned the old stalks in my garden
- i taught my kiddos a thing or two (maddie did some nice creative writing. isaac did some good rhyming {not rapping, just rhyming})
- hash for supper - yum
- dishes done, but house needing some attention . . .
- the four of us ended the day watching Secondhand Lions (it's a good one. i'd recommend it, if you can handle robert duvall saying damn and hell - we just told our kids that he's a grumpy old man, so he says those things, but we don't say them - they don't sound nice.)
- made some new plans for the next few days, as things changed a bit when we got lola (o.k. so that was related to the puppy . . . she's part of our life now . . . )
our wednesday is shaping up nicely here - even if it did get off to a slower start . . . i hope yours is, too!
