and, thanks to that lovely package from the Netherlands, I've been eating some, too.
We first had Stroopwafels in March of 2009 . . . you can read about that little tasting adventure here . . . and have been dreaming about them ever since.
My kiddos have called them "delicious treats" since that first taste. And our friend who sends them to us is "that girl who sent us the delicious treats."
Stroopwafels = SO. VERY. YUMMY.
Especially when set on top of a steaming cup of coffee . . . the caramel syrup inside gets all soft and gooey as the coffee slowly cools to just the right drinking temperature . . .
