Ben says: I'm going to get Kung Fu Panda.
Isaac: YOU ARE? THAT IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
Ben: You've never even seen it.
Isaac: What movie is it called again?
Maddie: Now why am I counting to 10 again?
J: Because, I have the hiccups.
Isaac: I don't have any dowies. (This child does not say the l sound. So 'dolly' comes out 'dowy'.)
Maddie: You can still come to our tea party.
Isaac (after some serious thought): I do have a teddy bear I can bring to the tea party.
J (Maddie's 6 year-old friend): That would be delightful, Isaac, if you would bring your teddy bear and come to our tea party.
Maddie and her cousin Ellie are coloring and I turn Jack Johnson on and Ellie says: This song makes me think of pink cookies.
Ellie: God made angels.
Maddie: I didn't know that.
Ellie: Yep, He did. And He said, "Now you go watch over those kids."
Isaac: Dad, were you working in the muck with your muck boots?
Ben: No, I was working in the sand.
Isaac: Oh, so you were wearing sandals.
Me: It wasn't a bee, it was a hornet.
Maddie: Hornets are little horns mom. Like on a baby goat. Baby goats have hornets. Hornets aren't like bees.
