Well, I did work on my blog yesterday -the sidebars are looking better I think. The header though - wow, I am having a hard time with that. There has got to be an easier way . . .

I also worked on my quilts for a while, but they are not to a point where they are looking very 'done' yet. Maybe by tomorrow . . .
We also went to have lunch with Ben at this jobsite
which is on a lake. And the day was beautiful. Not windy and just the right temp for a cozy sweatshirt. So the kids and I stayed and wandered around in the fresh air, together . . .
and just had fun!
Isaac worked a bit . . . and we did find him some wood to pound nails into - but he started out pounding them into the dirt - he just wanted to get workin'!
Maddie worked on a love note for her Daddy - which ended up looking like this:

(I Love Daddy) She is into sounding things out to spell them. I haven't corrected her in the 'E' vs. 'Y' thing yet, because I think it is pretty cute. We'll get there, but for now, I love that she wants to be writing and drawing so much.
We saw this mushroom right before heading home - I think it's the
biggest one I've ever seen. I should find out what kind it is . . .
