What fun little girl stories they are.
Nancy is so fancy and her family is so plain . . .
She is always finding ways to be fancy and
to say fancy words. We've been reading
Fancy Nancy this week and smiling and
laughing about it . . . then yesterday
afternoon, I hear a little, "Mom?" from upstairs.
I went up, and a giggly girl said, "Look!
It's Fancy Nancy!" She had dressed all up
like this on her own. What fun!
Isaac had so much fun on his first hunt! Too bad there weren't any ducks flying close enough. They were all headed to a bay around the corner - but the sky was full and it was a lovely morning to be out. There will be many more mornings to go with dad, and some ducks to bring home for the crock pot, I'm sure.
